While we may have differing opinions about certain aspects of the faith, it is our faith that indeed holds us together.

OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY – BROOKHAVEN COMMUNITY GARDEN

As part of BCC's community outreach and service effort, we are part of the Community Garden located on the Oglethorpe University Campus.

The garden, maintained not only by some of our memebers but also by University faculty, staff, students, contractors as well as committed friends, has been developed for the production of locally grown, locally distributed (shared), healthy food products that feed those in need. Produce from the garden is delivered to the Oglethorpe Presbtyterian Food Bank for distribution.

We invite you to join our effort. We welcome your participation. Wonderful things are going on there.

Flocking Season is Here!!

Be on guard for the arrival of those pesky pink Flamingos who, if memory serves, pose a serious threat to your lovely yard.  

Be not afraid.  Steps have been taken to provide, for a small (or larger if you require) fee, Anti-Flocking Insurance to protect your yard.  

Stop by the Narthex and pick up an Information Sheet to learn all about it.  There is also info just in case you do get Flocked and need Emergancy Extraction Service.

P. S.
Shh... In the event you wish to arrange for a "Flocking", that info can be had as well.
